So this is life...

Everything’s ending

It seems as if everything that was an integral part of my childhood has been recently coming to an end.  The Toy Story series ended with the third movie.  Harry Potter’s gonna be done for good this summer.  The era of the Pevensie children in the Chronicles of Narnia has come to a close.  The final Pirates film is coming out this year, and Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley aren’t even in it.  The age-old tradition of animated Disney films and princess stories is over.  Blockbusters, the place where I used to go almost every weekend as a kid to rent movies to watch with the family, is in talks of going out of business.  It’s as if the universe knows what’s going on, and, by ending these childhood mementos, is kinda saying, “Hey, you had a blast, but it’s time to stop looking to the past and grow up.” But I don’t really want to.
