When I was young, I refused to watch this movie because it terrified me, and my sister always thought I was a weenie cuz I got scared.  I didn’t watch it fully until I was 17 and felt I could handle it, and then I rewatched it recently.  Honestly one of the best Disney movies ever made.  It’s so dark and mature and beautiful at the same time.  Definitely a movie I’d want my kids to see when they got a little older.  It also has a fucking crazy soundtrack and probably one of the best openings I’ve ever seen in a Disney film.  Iono, it might just be me, but the last note of the song, and the fact that Clopin is able to hit that note…epic.  Gives me chills.
